  Athlete Biography

As the son of a high school baseball coach, I have been around the game all of my life. In 2008, I played 4 games on the junior varsity and was pulled up to varsity as a designated hitter. That season, I hit 24 for 54 for an average of .444 with 8 doubles, 15 runs, 16 walks.

In 2009 I had a knee injury and missed the first few games of the season. After returning,  I had 20 hits in 61 at-bats for an average of .328 with 1 double, 6 homeruns, 21 walks, 22 RBI's and 17 runs.

In 2010 through 13 games, I have a batting average of .500 (22 for 44) with 9 doubles and 2 homeruns, 17 runs and 20 RBIs. Up-to-date stats can be found on:

  Athlete Self Evaluation

I am a good, right-handed hitter with plus power and a good arm. Knowledgeable of the game and good work ethic. Played 3rd base primarily during Jr. season due to a bone bruise to my right knee early in the season that limited catching ability. Caught some in American Legion 2009 and projected to play mostly 2nd and 3rd base during 2010 with some catching.
